Dr Eric Yong is a dedicated diagnostic and interventional radiologist based at Vision Radiology and at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. Trained at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, he completed further fellowships in MRI and interventional radiology, honing expertise in advanced imaging techniques and minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Eric Yong has also attained the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) certification, underscoring a commitment to excellence in the field.
As a consultant radiologist, Dr. Eric Yong has participated in multiple multidisciplinary meetings at both St Vincent’s Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, contributing to discussions in neuro-oncology, hepatobiliary, colorectal and inflammatory bowel disease and cancer pain. With a keen interest in interventional pain procedures, he is currently focused on improving cancer pain management, utilizing innovative approaches to enhance patient care.
