Dr. Nishanthinie Parathithasan
Dr Parathithasan is a Melbourne-trained Consultant Radiologist with subspecialty expertise in breast imaging, musculoskeletal (MSK) radiology, and image-guided interventional procedures.
After completing a medical degree at Monash University, Dr Parathithasan undertook radiology training at St Vincent’s Hospital, followed by fellowship training in Breast Imaging at St Vincent’s and in MSK Radiology. Dr Parathithasan holds a Masters of Radiology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Anatomy from the University of Melbourne.
Dr Parathithasan also practices as a Consultant Radiologist at Monash Health.Her procedural expertise includes CT-guided spinal injections, ultrasound and CT-guided joint injections, and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
Outside of medicine, Dr Parathithasan enjoys dancing and martial arts, maintaining a well-rounded and active lifestyle.
