Dr. Stephanie Dawson
Dr Stephanie Dawson is a Melbourne-trained Radiologist with broad generalist expertise and particular interests in abdominal and neuroradiology. She also has strong experience in image-guided musculoskeletal, spinal, and head-and-neck procedures.
Dr Dawson completed her medical degree at Deakin University, with clinical training at Barwon Health’s University Hospital and elective placements at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. She undertook radiology training at Barwon Health, with additional rotations at St Vincent’s Hospital, the Mercy Hospital for Women, the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Her clinical practice includes a wide range of diagnostic imaging as well as interventional procedures. Dr Dawson regularly performs MSK and spinal interventions, along with head-and-neck procedures including core biopsies and fine-needle aspiration.
Outside of medicine, Stephanie enjoys spending time outdoors, running, and practicing yoga. She previously worked as a yoga teacher in Paris.
